Sadly the site has suffered over the years
Originally in agricultural use, the site has been used for car breaking since at least the 1960s.
Currently, the central area of Temple Farm contains a car scrap heap, vehicle dismantlers, small workshop garages, abandoned vehicle parts and other storage uses. Some of these uses have been certified as lawful and have permission to remain indefinitely.
Unfortunately, large parts of the site have been heavily contaminated by decades of waste disposal and tipping.
The site is likely to deteriorate even further without timely intervention.
